How long have you been growing tea and what got your started?
I have worked with tea for more than 30 years. I was born in a tea farming family. I followed my parents to work with tea when I was a little girl. So, when I grew up I become a tea farmer as well.

Can you describe a typical day out in the field?
I have to get up very early at 6 in the morning. I need to climb the mountains during the morning. I take rest at noon. Normally I will finish my plucking around 2pm in the afternoon.

What is your favorite part of growing tea?
I love the beautiful tea trees all over the mountains. It looks like a beautiful drawing. I love plucking. Sometimes I am singing while plucking.

Conversely, what is the hardest part of your job?
I have to climb mountains every day. My feet are not going well now. Sometime I feel uncomfortable when I am climbing. But I don't want to stop working like this.

Are there any tips you can give on how to best brew your tea?
Please use a glass cup to brew our beautiful mao feng. The temperature of hot water should be 80 degrees.
